How can I wash?

In addition, it is necessary to wash the products from contamination, they must be cleaned to a shine. To do this, you can use the following simple but effective ways:

  • Soak a napkin with alcohol and rub the crystal carefully, then wipe it with a microfiber cloth.
  • Rinse objects in a solution of vinegar, then rub them with a wool rag.
  • Dilute sal ammoniac in water and lower the products there, hold them in the solution for at least an hour, then wipe dry.
  • Cut the potatoes into large longitudinal pieces. Then put the chopped potatoes in a crystal vase or salad bowl, fill with clean water and leave for a few days. After 3-4 days, rinse the crystal thoroughly.
  • Another rather unusual way to help restore the shine of objects, is the coffee grounds. It lowered the product and leave for 2-3 hours. After this time, they are washed in water with vinegar, then dried with cotton fabric.

To wash the gilded crystal, it must be left in clean warm water for a couple of hours, then gently rub, without touching the areas with gilding. Then in a mixture of vinegar and purified water, rinse and wipe dry with a napkin.

Rhinestone is a natural material. It is fairly resistant to chemical and mechanical stress. Does not fear direct sunlight and contact with cleaning solutions, for this reason, care for this mountain mineral is simple. Wash off rhinestone is recommended soft sponge in a solution of liquid laundry detergent. Then rinse under a stream of cool water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Especially beautiful is considered to be artificial crystal, it is commonly called Czech and Bohemian glass. Despite the fact that dishes made of Czech glass looks fragile and thin in appearance, it is completely undemanding to care methods. It is possible to wash it, both manually and in the dishwasher.

But there are exceptions - these are products with a non-standard form and gilded painting, they are washed only by hand in a warm detergent solution.

One of the most suitable folk methods for washing Czech glass is: 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 tablespoon of vinegar added to 1 liter of water. This composition will give a radiant shine.

If the crystal product has become cloudy, a solution of warm, soapy water mixed with blue will come to the rescue. If a decanter or jug ​​with a narrow neck dims, it is recommended to use a thick mixture of soda and pea. It is poured into a vessel and thoroughly shaken, then washed with water.

It happens that the products become cloudy because too hot water was used to wash them. In this situation, a solution of 0.5 cups of vinegar and 1 cup of water will help out.

Yellowed crystal can be cleaned with a mixture of chalk and half a spoon of blue. This mixture should be well treated surface objects. On the walls of the product may remain a bluish tint, which is easily removed with wool fabric.

You can eliminate white, greenish or dark brown on the bottom of crystal products using a variety of methods. Consider them below:

  • Acetic acid and salt solution. To obtain this solution, add half a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of vinegar to a liter of water. It soaked the dishes for a quarter of an hour.
  • A mixture of 3-4 tablespoons of salt and soda fall asleep in the product for 30 minutes.

  • You can get rid of greenish and brown marks on a vase or jug ​​using a large salt. At the same time, the coating will not deteriorate, because the salt crystals from the water will smooth out.

Care

Crystalware should be stored separately from the other. It is best to use a box for storage, pre-wrapped food cling film. You never need to insert objects into each other, as when removing them there is a risk of cracks.

In a pot of such material, each cooked dish will look especially tasty and attractive. But with frequent use of salad bowls and wine glasses, their appearance becomes less presentable, the brilliance disappears. Care for such items is an important task for hostesses. If you follow simple recommendations, it is possible to extend the life of crystal products:

  • During cleaning and washing of crystal at the bottom of the sink it is necessary to lay a towel, a thick cloth napkin or a rubber mat.
  • To avoid scratches, use a soft sponge.
  • Water should be a little warm or cool.
  • Rinse dishes is recommended at the same temperature conditions as during washing.
