Children's clothes Kerry girls and boys

This Finnish brand is incredibly popular in Russia - moms and dads appreciate these clothes for their practicality and high quality. Despite the high price, children's clothes Kerry for girls and boys is in great demand from year to year.

About brand

The Kerry brand has been present on the Russian market since 1999. This brand was created specifically for sales in Russia of clothes of the Finnish brand Lenne. Kerry and Lenne jumpsuits and sets are sewn at the same factory in Estonia and are no different than the name on the tag. Kerry "goes" to Russia, Lenne - to European cities. According to the brand distributors, the only difference is in the demi-season sets: Lenne has slightly less insulation, because the off-season in Europe is softer and shorter.

Today, Kerry in Russia sells over 300 stores, including large chains. In the assortment of the brand outerwear for children from birth to 16 years. Along with winter and demi-season overalls, sets and jackets, Kerry produces a full line of accessories: hats and scarves, gloves and mittens, neck (shirt front) and booties for babies.

Features and advantages of products

  • Kerry is not membrane clothing. The upper fabric has a special water-repellent and windproof coating, which is not a membrane in the full sense of the word. In Kerry it is comfortable due to the sufficient amount of insulation, and these clothes do not require to follow the rule of layering (that is, the child does not need to wear thermal underwear and fleece poddevu). It is usually enough to wear a cotton long-sleeved shirt or a thin wool sweater.
  • Suitable for very young children. It is considered that membrane overalls are designed for mobile children - i.e. “Walker” that does not lie in the stroller. Kerry, on the other hand, produces envelopes with a filling of 330 g / m2 (there is simply no such thing above!), In which warm sleeping babies.
  • Kerry is insulated with synthetic isosoft filler. This insulation, the fibers of which are in the form of balls. Due to this, the product perfectly keeps warm, does not lose its shape and is easy to maintain - it can be washed in a machine at 40 degrees and wring out.
  • The brand has two types of upper fabric: Active and impregnated fabric. Fabric Active more durable and wear-resistant. It is used in the bottom of the coveralls and semi-overalls for boys. Some models use special heavy-duty fabric Cordura. It is inserted into those places that are experiencing the greatest stress: elbows, knees, ass.

Model overview

Kerry never stint on bright colors - models for children dazzle with multi-colored prints.

For the smallest envelopes are sewn. They do not transform into a jumpsuit, but all Kerry envelopes have a slot for a car belt - this means that a child in this garment can be carried in the car seat. Envelopes are sewn in sizes 50, 56 and 62. If the baby was born in the fall or at the beginning of winter, a larger envelope is useful to him, so that there is a reserve for growth. For those who were born closer to the warm season, a small envelope will suffice; for the next season it will not be useful anyway.

Winter envelopes have a heater of 250-300 g / sq.m, demi-season - 80. For a newborn baby, it is enough to wear a cotton slip and a knitted or fleece suit for such outerwear. The sleeves are closed with special cuffs, and for the convenience of mothers the envelope is fastened with two zippers on the sides.

Both for boys and girls, envelope colors are delicate: blue, pink, light green, yellow. As a rule, they are plain with a small pattern on the chest and a beautiful printed lining.

For older kids, coveralls and sets of “jacket + bib” are sewn. Winter overalls for girls and boys have a heater of 330 g / sq.m. For babies up to 1.5 years old (sizes 68-86), combo shakers are usually sewn from the same type of material. The hood has an inner elastic band, due to which it fits snugly to the head. In form, it resembles a cap that distinguishes Kerry from all other firms.

Lightning is one, but long, from the throat to the middle of the leg, and on top it is closed with a valve with buttons. There is a horizontal elastic stitching on the back for a snug fit. Sleeves are closed with a flap. At the bottom there are strips for mounting on shoes.

In the Kerry collections there are monophonic overalls, there are printed ones. For girls - white, pink, red, lilac colors with flowers, hearts, bunnies, and for boys - blue, green, gray with bears, aliens, geometric patterns.

From the height of 86 (that is, from about one and a half years), the overalls have their own appearance - the lower part of them is sewn of fabric Active, it is more rough to the touch, but it is strong It turns out that the top of such products - with a print, and the bottom-monophonic. Such models are no longer equipped with a valve for closing the sleeve, and zipper pockets appear on them. The hit of the season 2016-2017 - “bullion” with a skirt for girls: at the junction of the legs with a jacket there is a small frill, resembling a basque.

Slip-on coveralls are sewn to a height of 134, and the further, the less variety in prints and colors. Most likely this is due to the fact that children of school age such clothes become uncomfortable.

Kerry kits are sewn from a size of 80 cm. In demi-season versions 80 g / sq. m of insulation in a jacket and 45 - in trousers. In the winter - the jacket is “stuffed” with 330 g of insulation, and trousers - 180. The length of the semi-overalls is adjusted with the help of buttons on the straps.

In costumes, prints are applied only on the jacket, girls' pants are pink, gray or black, and boys are black.

For children over 3 years old and teenagers, Kerry produces jackets, trousers and coats for winter and autumn / spring separately. You can assemble the "top" and "bottom" independently, and you can buy one jacket and wear it, for example, with jeans. The choice of models is huge - bright sporty cut jackets and classic ones. For girls, there are real winter coats that will close the legs to the knees - you can wear them with thick tights and dresses.

Size chart

When choosing a Kerry outwear, consider the following:

  • In models for babies up to 2 years old (up to 92 years old), there is a reserve of 6 cm per height during the season. That is, when purchasing a winter overalls for a one-year-old baby 80 cm in height in the autumn, it makes sense to take an overalls of size 80, which has a reserve up to 86. This overalls will not be great for a child, but they will not be small until the end of the season.
  • When choosing Kerry outerwear for children over 2 years old, it is worth considering that the ingots at these ages have a margin of +6 cm, and the sets go exactly to size. The pants have a little trick: some of them are supplemented with an inner cuff to keep out the snow, and some just have a rubber band at the bottom. Trousers with a cuff are better to buy exactly in size, and if you want them to have a “stock”, you should choose an option with an elastic band.
  • Large children should always take a jumpsuit or a set larger than what is suitable for size!
  • The size of the cap is equal to the circumference in centimeters. The size of gloves and mittens corresponds to the age of the child, i.e. size 2 - for 2 years, etc.

How to distinguish the original

It is believed that Kerry is unprofitable to forge - the brand uses quite expensive accessories, which immediately "tells" the whole truth about the product. However, fakes are found. In order not to run into them, you need to buy clothes from a trusted seller, preferably in the official distributor store.

It should be understood that Kerry overalls are quite expensive, and if the seller offers to buy a new thing for 2-3 thousand rubles, most likely it is a fake.

Pay attention to the clarity of the print and the quality of the seams. At the present overalls these parameters at height!

Be sure to read everything that is written on the tag. Very often, manufacturers openly write that this is not “Kerry”, but, for example, “Keery”, but the buyer does not notice this.

How much is

The official Kerry sellers prices start at 4500 rubles - about as much as the envelopes for newborns. Winter overalls are not cheaper than 8000 rubles, some models (small size and without prints) - about 6000. Winter coats - from 8000 rubles, Kerry Lux coat, decorated with embroidery and Swarovski crystals - 15 000 rubles. Demi-season overalls are sold at a price of 6,000 rubles, sets - from 7,500.

Reviews

Most moms say that Kerry clothing meets all expectations: it is warm, lightweight, and stitched in a quality manner. After the season, socks, overalls and costumes remain in good condition, so that they can be transferred to younger siblings or sold. Parents of children who go to kindergarten are always sure that the child is warm, because Kerry does not require additional prying, and do not need to control to put them on.

Among the shortcomings, buyers note the bulk of things and the brand’s excessive popularity - often in the same yard you can meet 3-4 children in almost identical Kerry sets.

Stylish images

Bright costumes of the Finnish brand speak for themselves. To them it is enough to pick up a suitable hat and gloves. For motley sets, monochrome accessories are better suited, for calm colors - bright.

Bright stripes look original on the boy, and the pattern on the cap repeats the print of the jacket.

You can choose a hat suitable for overalls among accessories of the same brand. It will ideally repeat the colors of outerwear, but at the same time differ in pattern.

Here the cap is more delicate than the shade of a suit, but in one color scale - the image looks logical and complete.
