However, the designers did not limit themselves to the classics and the world's catwalks were full of linen dresses of all shades of the rainbow! Both monophonic outfits, and combining several colors or several shades of the same color, came into fashion.

Embroidery draws attention to a linen dress with a touch of some ethnicity, it looks very nice and expensive. In addition to embroidery, linen items are embroidered with beads, beads of various sizes, sequins, pieces of fabric, leather. Most often, such things are handmade and are made in a single copy.

Also, women's linen clothes are often decorated with lace. Decorated in this way, things acquire elegance, a touch of luxury and bohemian chic. They do not require the addition of any bright accessories, because the lace attracts all attention to itself.

In the decoration of linen dresses, such types of lace are used as knitted (hand-knitted lace, used to create exclusive outfits), linen (woven from linen fibers, most often decorated with ethnic-style dresses), sewing (volume lace on cotton basis) and synthetic (used less frequently, since it is not very well combined with flax in texture).

Accessories for linen outfits should preferably be selected from natural materials (leather, stone, wood).

Lyon is an incredibly durable material and things from it, with proper care, can serve up to 20 years! And what is it - the right care? Let's try to figure it out.

Washing, drying and ironing:

  • hand washing is preferable for linen clothes, but it can also be washed in a washing machine by selecting the delicate mode;
  • Use powder for children's clothes, as it helps soften the fabric and does not contain aggressive cleansing ingredients;
  • water temperature during washing should not exceed 30-40 degrees in order to avoid shrinkage of things and loss of color;
  • Linen clothing should not be twisted off - it should be gently wrung out with her hands, straightened and hung to dry in the open air (avoiding exposure to sunlight);
  • soaking linen things is strictly prohibited - flax absorbs water well, fibers swell and the fabric loses its shape;
  • Do not overdry flaxen clothes, it is advisable not even to dry them a little and iron slightly damp;
  • Ironing iron recommended temperature is 180-200 degrees;
  • If knitted lace, embroidery or appliqué is present on the product, ironing should be done from the inside of the product.

Storage:

  • to store linen things should be folded, protecting from sunlight;
  • if you want to remove the thing for a long time, wrap it in wrapping paper;
  • flax pants should be hung on special hangers with clothespins, which will help them keep their shape and straighten up under the influence of their own weight.
