The fact is that the founders of the aforementioned companies are siblings who were originally the owners of another sport brand Gebrüder Dassler. Over the 24-year history of its existence, the company specializing in the manufacture of sports shoes expanded to an unprecedented scale, but in 1945 something irreparable happened. The brothers had quarreled for political reasons, and even after the end of the war, footwear production was again able to be restored, their relations did not improve.

And when the brothers' father, the third owner of the Dassler brand, died in 1948, it was out of the question to continue their joint activities. It is from this period that the ardent confrontation of two relatives, Adolph and Rudolph, begins. At a distance of several hundred meters from each other, two companies appear - Addas and Ruda. Yes, this is how the world famous brands were originally called. A little later, one brother replaced the name Ruda with Puma, and the second, in order to keep up with the relative, added the letter “i” to the name and it turned out Adidas.

In a desire to circumvent the fraternal company, Adidas and Puma have constantly improved their products. This healthy competition has positively influenced the quality of clothing and footwear produced by brands, so today it is impossible to determine which one is the best. Moreover, it is impossible to find sports products at all better than those produced by these brands. Further, I wanted to talk about what features different sportswear of one of the aforementioned brands, namely Puma.
