Creams that we apply for these purposes, ideally should go in an even, thin layer and be well absorbed. However, in practice this is not always the case. Each woman was faced with a situation where the remedy applied to the skin suddenly rolls down with pellets and balls instead of being evenly distributed over its surface.

Such a nuisance can occur when applying the foundation, and in the case when we use care products. Of course, each such case should be considered with a personal therapist, who will be able to professionally evaluate the patient's skin type and compliance with this type of cosmetic used. However, it is possible to identify some factors that are common to most cases.

In the first place, of course, will be the question of the shelf life of the product, which has behaved on the skin in such an inappropriate way. Even in the branded department of expensive cosmetics, it makes sense to ask about the shelf life of a cream. Especially if the price is high enough. As a rule, it is indicated in two versions:

• For storage of unopened cosmetics;
• For the cosmetics that is open and applied.

In the first case, you need to carefully examine the codes on the package. Shelf life may not be specified at all, there may be only the date of manufacture, as is the case, for example, in Korean cosmetics. Then this means that the shelf life of this tool is more than 30 months (in Korean cosmetics it is 3 years).

In addition, each manufacturer of cosmetics has its own version of the codes that indicate the date of manufacture, usually the codes are designed for professionals, so it is difficult for consumers to navigate. We need to look at the numbers printed on the package: the year of manufacture shows the first two of them, the next - the day in a row, starting from January 1; either day and month.

As soon as we open this or that cosmetic, its shelf life is significantly reduced, unfortunately. Information about this feature should also be indicated on a tube of cream, it looks like a jar with an open lid, next to which there is a figure indicating the safe period of use from the moment of opening.

For most creams, the shelf life from the opening is the same. therefore it is advisable to remember, what:

• Liquid cream - the basis is used 6 months;
• Liquid cream - the basis having the batcher can be applied within a year from the moment of opening;
• The foundation is used for 1 year, but by the end of this period such substances as the vitamins in its composition will already lose their effectiveness.
• Natural cosmetics, which do not contain preservatives of chemical origin, deteriorate much faster, and can only be used for 6 months.

Overdue cream changes the texture, begins to exfoliate, so its texture on the skin will look strange, it rolls into balls, thickens and does not smear.Also, after the expiration date in bacteria, bacteria, yeast, fungus, and even micro-mites begin to develop.

Another reason for which the foundation is rolled on the face may be the discrepancy between the bases of the two products applied to the skin: primer and tonalnik. On this occasion, there is a beautician's answer, according to which, a different basis for the primer and the foundation will inevitably cause the formation of pellets.

Most primers have silicone in their composition. This substance perfectly aligns the skin, but "does not get along" with a water-based foundation. Attempting to apply a water tonal over the silicone primer will necessarily lead to the fact that the particles of foundation will slip and slide.

In the case when this happened, and there is a catastrophic lack of time to clean the face and apply new makeup, it is possible to correct problem areas. To do this, you can shade them with a clean and wet sponge. Beauticians advise to walk them all over the face, as if applying a foundation. In this case, the excess and lumps will remain on the sponge and the cream will be distributed more qualitatively.

The reason that the foundation is rolled up after application may be an inappropriate skin cream - a treatment that many people apply instead of primer. Another one is its name: modified starch.

In general, this substance belongs to the category of sorbents, and is an ultraviolet filter with a fairly high, 7 out of 10, level of skin protection. It has a synthetic origin, although it is derived from vegetable starch. According to international norms and standards published by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel, this modified starch has no harmful side effects, and can be included in cosmetics.

And it is thanks to him that the cream can “roll”, curling up into balls, and this property is expressed in varying degrees of intensity with different customers. They often mention this in reviews for matting creams, indicating the presence of modified starch in the first lines of the composition of those creams that roll on their skin. In fairness it should be noted that the roll does not happen at all, and, obviously, is associated with the individual characteristics of a particular skin.

In order to avoid this effect, it is recommended to carefully read the composition of the product that you intend to purchase. If in doubt, test the probe first.

Often the foundation is going to clot in pores, folds of skin or wrinkles. This is primarily due to the fact that the base applied under makeup was too dense texture. It is easy to avoid such a situation, you just need to choose a lighter basic tool, preferably with a shine effect. In this case, the airy texture does not fall into the depth of the wrinkle, but is distributed over its surface. Light reflecting particles entering such a cream will be able to reduce the visibility of defects by pushing light away from the skin's surface.

It’s not strange to talk about insufficiently clean skin as a reason for the cream to roll on the face, but nevertheless it is worth mentioning. The concept of “unclean skin” includes not only dirt in the commonly used sense, but also house dust, cosmetics residues, and the upper stratum corneum of the epidermis.

Typically, the effect of rolling cause scrubs and peels. In this way, they clean the surface of the skin from impurities and remove the top layer of dead cells. Therefore, when your usual cream suddenly unexpectedly rolled when applied, it is worth remembering when you last time scrubbed your face and made peeling.

When scrubbing, dead cells are peeled off from the surface of the skin, which are not able to fall away on their own, without performing any protective functions, but only interfere with the breathing of the skin and clog its pores.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning the need for thorough removal of make-up, which can be cleaned with either mycelial water or make-up removal oils. In the second case, it is worthwhile to carefully consider the definition of skin type and study the properties of oils in order not to clog pores and not cause excessive secretion of subcutaneous fat. It is not recommended to use hydrophilic oils, which in most cases are of synthetic origin.

There are some nuances of applying creams that need to be considered so that the cream does not roll on the skin.

1. You should not use winter cream in summer, as it has a more fatty consistency and provokes problems in hot weather;
2. It is better to apply creamy and liquid tonal means with fingers, and only cream - powder of dense texture is applied with a wet sponge;
3. It is not recommended to apply thick layers of tonal on the reddened areas, it is better to use a concealer of a greenish tint, which will hide them with preservation of an even-looking skin;
