In such a fuss, you can easily forget to get something that is necessary and really necessary, so you must make a list of basic things that a newborn and his mother simply cannot do without. Close people most often try to find a beautiful gift set of clothes for a newborn, and future mothers get everything they need to take with them to the hospital. Some families believe in old signs and traditions, according to which it is prohibited to buy little things for a baby in advance, but in ancient times, needlewomen always, preparing for the appearance of a baby, spun, sewed and wove a dowry for him. But now there is no need to make children's things manually, since all clothes for newborns can be bought in specialized stores or ordered online without leaving the house.

Often it is very difficult for future parents to decide exactly which things need to be bought and how many things the baby will need, because babies grow by leaps and bounds. In order for the baby to be comfortable in his first clothes, children's things should be made only of environmentally friendly natural fabrics such as cotton, viscose and knitwear, and for the cold season of wool. Best of all, clothes on which, instead of buttons and zippers, are strings of soft materials.

As a future mother, you can not do without thin and more dense, insulated diapers, which are necessary in order to wrap the baby in them. You need to buy diapers, which, like other clothes, are made from natural materials, and their shape should be a rectangle measuring approximately ninety to seventy centimeters. Diapers are usually necessary only in the first days after the baby is born.

The amount of clothes that you will need to purchase for a newborn depends, first of all, on whether you are going to use disposable diapers or, on the contrary, whether you are ready to wash a lot of clothes and often enough. In addition, you should consider whether there is a person near you who is able to provide constant washing and ironing of things for an infant. If you are going to use diapers daily, then you will need about five to seven full sets of baby clothes, but if instead of disposable diapers you will use gauze and diapers, you will need about twice as many sets of clothes for a newborn.

Experienced mothers advise you not to get too many diapers and baby vestments, since diapers will only be needed for the first couple of weeks, and later they will only fit to lay them on the surface that you will use to dress your baby. As for the vest, the child needs this element of clothing only during the first month of his life, not more. After the baby becomes more active, he will involuntarily lift them up, and therefore you will need children's bodysuits, which are T-shirts or children's shirts with clasps in the form of rivets between the legs. Such clothes are very comfortable not only for the baby, but also for his mother, because such fasteners simplify the process of dressing and undressing. In addition, a wide range of such clothing is presented: from warm long sleeves for use in the cold season to thin cotton sleeves suitable for warm weather.

Many parents who are too caring acquire gloves for their baby so that the baby does not scratch it with its nails. But many experts strictly prohibit young mothers to acquire this item of clothing, because it dulls the child’s tactile sensations and, consequently, the development of the baby slows down. The kid, whose arms are hidden in mittens, cannot obviously feel warm and cold, hard and soft. Therefore, you should not buy baby gloves, it is better to try as often as possible to cut off the nails, if you are afraid that your baby may be scratched by them.

An important and really necessary thing for a newborn are the sliders. When choosing this item of clothing, try to purchase elongated sliders that have fasteners or ties in the shoulder area. Sliders, which are fixed on the body of the baby with the help of rubber bands on the tummy, are less preferable, since they will slip at the very first sharp movements of the legs.

As for the headdress for your baby, it should be noted that experts do not advise to buy caps for the baby with ties on the chin, as they are very inconvenient, the strings literally eats into the neck of your baby. It is best to get a pair of ordinary round caps, one of which will be quite thin and will be made of cotton, and the second - more warm, of wool. In rooms with air temperatures above eighteen degrees Celsius, experts advise against wearing a hat. It is better to use baby hats for walking or wear them after taking a bath.

In order not to torment yourself at night with feelings and not to check if your baby has unraveled, you should buy a special envelope for sleeping. This is a kind of “sleeping bag” for newborns, which is fastened with a zipper. When your baby is a little older, you can get an envelope for sleeping, which has sleeves and a hood. In order to go for a walk with your baby, you will be perfectly suited to a sleeping envelope, insulated with fur, which will reliably protect your child from the cold. If you do not have such an envelope for sleeping, you can replace it with a warm blanket or a woolen blanket.

For the first time after the birth of the baby, you need to acquire sets of sterile children's clothes.Many mothers ask themselves what kind of things and in what quantity the newborn will need.
