Bra Story

Bra Story

Bra is an integral part of the wardrobe of any young lady.

Depending on its style, this type of underwear is able to provide reliable protection and support, change shape and give sexual shape to the female breast. In general, the bra has many important functions: firstly, it protects the chest from deformation and bruises or injuries. Secondly, it can slightly raise the chest, making it visually a little more. And, thirdly, the bra can serve as an excellent component of an erotic image.

Story

The bra is the element of the female wardrobe, without which not a single image of modern beauties can do. Not everyone knows that the first mention of this underwear, which is now so familiar to every woman, is rooted in antiquity. Of course, in those days, not all beautiful ladies could afford such luxury, since the use of such underwear was then a very private and intimate affair: bras were made to order in an atelier or at home in a fashion designer. Naturally, the cost of such models was quite high, and only rich and resolute ladies could afford them.

The very style of those products was far from modern. Then the bra was simply intertwined strips of fabric that could hardly securely fix the breast and provide its support. Bras, which are very close in style to those models that exist now, first appeared in the late 19th century. But it was not just a bodice, but a kind of a corset with a bones at the base of the chest, so popular in those days. And only in the 20th century, the famous designer Paul Puare invented the style of bras that modern women still use today.

Old style

First push-up

Such a secret trick as breast augmentation with a bra began to be used 250 years ago. This is now the bodice, which has Push-up inserts, is a familiar and integral element of the wardrobe of many modern ladies. But in the 19th century, it was necessary to have the courage to put on such an unusual model, misleading others.

Sweet dreams

Model Sweet Dreams is the first style of bras, which differed from its predecessors in a special soft cup. It first appeared in the 50s of the last century. The emergence of this kind of bra has significantly simplified the lives of many women of those times, who are tired of feeling the discomfort of tough, uncomfortable cups.

The first sports bra

Previously, women loved to play sports no less than in our time. The first model of bra, created specifically for lovers of outdoor activities was top Jogbra. He was much freer and more comfortable than ordinary bras.

The creators of this product were designers L. Lindal and H. Miller. They themselves loved to do athletics, and in 1977 they had the idea to create a sports bra for running. In the future, these models were used for aerobics. Of course, sports bras of those times are in many respects inferior to their modern counterparts: they did not have such supporting properties and were not particularly durable.

"Angelica"

The world's first balconette appeared in the 60s of the last century. This model had a fairly rigid structure. The cups only half covered the chest, and reliable support was provided by the steel bones at the base of the cups.

This bodice has received the unusual name "Angelica" in the eponymous film "Angelica.Marquise of angels ”, in which the main character appeared on the screen in such a model of linen. In the USSR, the film was first broadcast in 1964, and since then the balconette of such a cut is called a beautiful female name.

At that time, only angelic ladies could get angelica bra.

Modern tendencies

To date, the assortment of women's bras presented a huge number of options. Naturally, depending on the style, these products are intended for various purposes. And in order to choose a model that will emphasize the attractiveness and highlight the advantages of your forms, it is necessary to choose a bra, based on the type of your figure.

In general, at the present stage of development of bras, they can be divided into several categories depending on such characteristics of products as:

  1. View of the cup. It can be soft or dense.
  2. The presence of pits. There are products that have bones, and there are those that are not equipped with them.
  3. The shape of the cups. There are closed, open models, as well as bras with triangular cups, with a V-shaped neckline, as well as with inserts.
  4. Type of straps. First of all, the straps can be removable or sewn. In addition, they are thin or wide.
