Heated shoes

Heated shoes

In the cold season, we get the most warm clothes and shoes. But what to do if you have to stay in such harsh conditions that the usual insulation is no longer enough? Buy heated items.

In this article I would like to talk in more detail about heated shoes. They differ from other standard footwear on a heater in that they have a built-in heating system that is charged from batteries or electricity using a charger. More information about what are heated shoes, consider below.

How heated boots work

In order for ordinary winter boots to accurately acquire the status of the warmest, they are supplemented with a special device. This device is controlled by an infrared remote control, which is complemented by a microchip. With its help, the temperature inside the shoe can be raised to 55 ° C. Heated shoes are capable of this for 8 hours and this is on condition that the heating device will work constantly.

The heating mechanism is usually sewn inside the shoe, and the heating levels can be adjusted using sensors located in the ankle area. These shoes are complemented by an antibacterial deodorizing coating, which prevents the development of the fungus in favorable conditions.

In addition to the heating mechanism itself, the boots with heating have classic insulators, such as tinsuleyt. The outer part of such shoes is usually made of a special rubberized material that repels moisture and dirt. This allows you to use heated boots in camping conditions, say fishing or hunting. Few people know that heated shoes may not be too warm.

Winter

Such a model of shoes is usually complemented by a heated insole. This insole looks quite usual, but differs in that a heating element is inserted into its hollow part. This heating device works on the battery, which lasts an average of 3 - 5 hours. The heating element is also activated using the remote control. These shoes are the perfect solution for those who have freezing cold feet.

It is interesting that outwardly such boots may not differ in any way from the classic winter ones. They can have a massive sole, get off with down or water-repellent synthetic fiber. Most often, these shoes are complemented by classic lacing.

Electrically heated

And such shoes in terms of cut and appearance are more reminiscent of classic hiking shoes. The switch of heating modes, located in the region of the leg, is more like a decorative element and does not reveal its true purpose. Modern models of such boots are also supplied with special adapters for USB connection. This allows you to charge the heating mechanism, through any device that has this connector.

The most curious thing is that the shoes with such a device have three heating modes:

  • Up to 60 C - the most maximum level of heating, which is intended for temperatures below 32 C. In this mode, the warming device battery lasts no more than 2 hours.
  • Up to 50 ° C is the average level of heating, which suggests that a person will moderately move in cold conditions. This mode can be maintained by the battery for no more than 3 hours.
  • Up to 45 C - this is the minimum level of heating, which is designed for moderately cold weather. In this mode, the battery runs for at least 4 hours.

It is interesting that models of electrically heated shoes can be found in both men's and women's collections, while children's models of shoes can be supplemented exclusively by a warming insole.
